About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - One year of experience in Operating Room - Scrubbing experience required - Experience in Orthopedic and Spine procedures Description: Hiring process includes profile review and interview with the unit manager. Unit has an average of 30 cases per day. Required certifications include BLS. Common cases include Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and robotic surgeries with Da Vinci, Rosa, and Mako systems. Experience in Orthopedics and Spine is essential. The schedule includes varied shifts with no self-scheduling. Four call shifts are required in a six-week period, which include a mix of weeknights and weekends. Response time for call is 30 minutes. Scrubs are provided for staff. The facility may cancel up to four shifts during the assignment. The charting system used is EPIC. A BSN is not required for this position.
