Working as a Full-time Driver (DOT - CDL) at our WA100 Distribution Center, you will represent our fleet as you deliver from Fastenal Distribution Centers to branches and customer on-site locations. You will operate a safe and well-maintained tractor trailer or straight truck that is no more than four years old. Delivery trucks are pre-loaded, in order of delivery, by warehouse employees prior to departure and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route; most routes average 10-12 stops. The majority of driving will be done at night, with most schedule departure times between 10-11pm, which means you'll be home each day. We offer established routes that may see periodic change based off needs of the company. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient manner
• Interacting with our shipping and receiving departments
• Maintaining a clean work environment within our equipment
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License
• Possess a current Health Card OR have the ability to obtain one
• Possess a current Haz Mat endorsement OR have the ability to obtain one (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver
• Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift up to 60lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs.
• Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. The base pay range for this position is $71,000 - 95,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
