HOUSEKEEPING CREWS WANTED - TEAMS OF 2+Mountaineer Cleaning & Maintenance is looking for experienced housekeeping crews of TWO OR MORE to clean Short-Term Rentals (STRs).And before everybody with a bottle of Windex and a cousin applies... we have standards. HIGH ones.We aren't looking for people who think they know how to clean. We're looking for professional crews who understand that STR cleaning is a whole different animal.NOW, LET'S TALK MONEY - BECAUSE THE EARNING POTENTIAL IS REAL.In 2025:Some of our ONE-PERSON teams earned OVER $100,000.Some of our TWO-PERSON teams earned approximately $120,000 - and one reached approximately $150,000.And here's something important:Those numbers don't include the additional incentives we give out throughout the year.Yes. You read that correctly.A two-person cleaning crew. $150K - before additional incentives.Obviously, earnings are not guaranteed and depend on availability, workload, performance, reliability, and the amount of work your crew can handle. But if you're wondering whether the earning potential is here for crews who consistently perform at a high level...Yes. It absolutely is.NOW FOR THE NON-NEGOTIABLES:STR CLEANING EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED.Not residential cleaning. Not "I've cleaned houses before." Not "my house is really clean." We mean actual Airbnb/VRBO/STR turnover experience.CREWS OF 2 OR MORE.You must already have a reliable team that works well together.COMMUNICATION IS ESSENTIAL.You must be able to communicate effectively with our team. If English is not your first language, you must be bilingual and able to communicate effectively in English.A GOOD, RELIABLE WORKING VEHICLE.These properties aren't going to teleport themselves closer to you. Trust us, we've asked.EXTREME ATTENTION TO DETAIL.If you can walk past a hair in a shower, crumbs under a toaster, fingerprints on stainless steel, dust on a headboard, or a mystery smear on a mirror without it bothering your soul...We're probably not your people.RELIABLE MEANS RELIABLE.STRs have check-in times. Guests do not care that your alarm didn't go off, your phone died, Mercury is in retrograde, or Tuesday just wasn't your day.You must be comfortable following detailed cleaning procedures, completing required documentation/photos, and meeting consistently high quality standards on EVERY clean.This is a 1099 independent contractor position.OKAY, SO WE EXPECT A LOT. WHY NOT JUST CLEAN AIRBNBS ON YOUR OWN?Fair question.Because while you handle the cleaning, we handle the back-end headaches.We deal with the property owners and property managers.We handle the scheduling.We provide the software and systems that keep everything organized.We handle the laundry logistics.And most importantly?WE HAVE CONSISTENT WORK.You're not signing up with us just to sit around wondering when the next job is coming or whether you'll have enough work to put food on the table.We have established clients, established properties, and consistent turnover work. Our job is to keep the work flowing so our crews can focus on doing it exceptionally well.And you won't be left wondering what's going on, either.WE COMMUNICATE. A LOT.Actually, we probably overcommunicate sometimes.Schedules, changes, property information, expectations, problems - we believe you should know what's happening. You shouldn't have to chase someone down just to get the information you need to do your job.We do the behind-the-scenes work required to keep properties and jobs coming your way - so you don't have to spend your evenings chasing owners, coordinating schedules, managing software, figuring out laundry, or doing all the administrative work that comes with running STR accounts yourself.You focus on doing exceptional work. We focus on keeping the machine running.Here's the deal:We expect a LOT.Our standards are high because our clients' standards are high.
