We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented  Production Associate  to join our production team. This role plays a critical part in the preparation, processing, packaging, and inspection of meat products.

Ideal candidates are hardworking, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position:

Location:  Ferndale, WA

Shift and Pay

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM ($18.00/hour )
• Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM ($19.00/hour )

Key Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, cutting, stuffing, weighing, labeling, boxing, and palletizing
• Load and unload products onto racks, carts, and conveyors
• Move products between temperature-controlled areas
• Prepare items for vacuum processing and packaging
• Inspect products for quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards
• Report defects or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
• Follow all food safety regulations (HACCP, USDA, FDA guidelines)
• Assist with sanitation processes as needed
• Accurately record production data (counts, weights, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in  cold and/or hot environments handling meat products
• Required to wear appropriate PPE depending on department
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Perform repetitive tasks and stand/walk for extended periods
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required
