Travel Registered Nurse

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a clinical support unit. The nurse will be required to float to multiple specialty units including Emergency Room, Intensive Care, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Labor & Delivery/Post Partum, and Neonatal Intensive Care across various facilities. Traveling nurses will float to any facility as a 1:1 sitter if required. The nurse will only float within their specialty and will not float to a lower acuity. Ratios for patients vary by unit, with Intensive Care typically requiring a 1:1 to 1:2 ratio. Common patient diagnoses will be provided by unit managers. Experience in antepartum and mother baby is highly preferred for Labor & Delivery travelers. Nurses will be required to titrate drips in certain units such as Intensive Care, Emergency Room, Telemetry, and Medical Surgical. Charge nurses are present on all shifts and units, with support from a leadership team including assistant managers. Nurse aides or patient care technicians are available on units, providing assistance with patient care. The schedule involves predetermined shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. There is no requirement for self-scheduling or standby. Travelers will receive notifications via an app regarding their assignments one hour before their shifts. The dress code requires clean and professional attire with no specific colors mandated. All assignments will be subject to a geographical radius rule. Candidates must confirm their eligibility by confirming their residency is outside the specified radius.
