PainterTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Painters for projects located in or around the Greater Los Angeles and Orange Country, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-$40/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Painter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Apply primers, sealers, and specialty coatings to wood, metal, drywall, and concrete surfacesPerform surface preparation including scraping, sanding, wire brushing, and cleaningRepair drywall damage, patch holes, caulk joints, and apply waterproofing materialsInstall and repair wall coverings, decorative finishes, and specialty coatingsPaint and finish commercial interiors and exteriorsWork on active commercial projects including banks, restaurants, office buildings, and retail facilitiesMaintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedulesRequirements:Must have personal hand tools including roller frames, covers, paint brushes (2½", 3", and 4"), putty knives, caulking gun, scrapers, sanding tools, utility knife, buckets, etc. (materials supplied by contractor)Must wear work-boots and Painters Whites are preferred5+ years of commercial painting experience preferredExperience with wall coverings, decorative finishes, and restoration workAbility to work independently and from project specificationsReliable transportation to various job sites throughout LA and Orange CountyMust provide personal hand tools (materials supplied by contractor)Ability to work overtime and occasional 7-day schedules when project demands requireBe Safe from fraud!
