Tool & Die Technician Location: Elkhart, IN area Shift: 1st shift is 5:00 am to 1:30pm Monday – Friday Pay: $27 up to $28 hourly + Overtime when applicable + employee benefits Seeking a Tool Maker with experience making cutting and machine tools, jigs, and dies. The Technician also ensures all stamping tools are properly maintained and ready to support scheduled production. Assist production by troubleshooting tools, assess broken tools and assist in repairs. Details & Qualifications: Performs preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and emergent maintenance on all production dies, fixtures and other production-related equipment. 3 years prior experience in manufacturing and tool and die setting. Must be able to read blueprints and schematic and tool design drawings. Must have proficiency in die repair in a metal stamping environment. Prefer general experience operating Experienced with Manual lathes Experienced with Manual milling machines Experienced with Grinders Experienced with Saws Experienced with Die Maintenance/Repair Experienced with Fixture Maintenance/Repair Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
