Job Summary: We are seeking a Field Service Technician to perform service, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role serves as the first line of technical support, working directly with customers to inspect valves, service hydrants, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure the reliable operation of mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting abilities, customer service skills, and the flexibility to work in various indoor and outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities: Perform field service activities at customer locations while maintaining a safe work environment Inspect valves and service hydrants according to operational and safety standards Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues and perform corrective actions Identify, report, and help resolve safety concerns involving company-owned and customer-owned equipment Conduct routine inspections, testing, maintenance, and repair activities Serve as the primary technical support contact for customers in the field Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation Utilize Microsoft Office applications and smart devices to document service activities Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment status, repairs, and recommendations Ensure proper use, maintenance, and care of company tools, equipment, and vehicles Support operations across multiple customer sites and technologies as assigned Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Participate in training programs and certification activities as required Travel to customer sites, meetings, and training seminars as needed Required Skills: Technical troubleshooting experience with mechanical and/or electrical equipment Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues independently Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices Ability to maintain accurate service documentation and reports Strong attention to safety and compliance requirements Ability to work independently and in field environments Preferred Skills: Experience inspecting valves and servicing hydrants Field service or maintenance experience Experience working with water, utility, industrial, or mechanical systems Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance practices CDL Class A or B (or willingness to obtain) TWIC Card (or ability to obtain) Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Education: High School
