Staff AccountantJorgensen Conveyors is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Staff Accountant to support our finance team with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. Serving as a complete solutions provider, Jorgensen offers integrated chip processing and coolant filtration systems as well as standalone equipment components. Our customers include the OEM machine builders, importers of machines built outside the U.S., distributors and end users in metal working manufacturing.The Staff Accountant will work closely with finance and business management to deliver reporting and analytical support. This role provides financial reporting and analysis of operational expenses while enhancing the clarity of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting. It also involves collaborating with the Finance department, senior leaders, to support budgeting, forecasting, and various projects and analyses, enabling the organization's rapid growth.Essential Functions:Assist with business on monthly/year-end close processes including:Recording various period-end journal entriesVarious general-ledger account reconciliationsProvide support to company AR and AP roles and processesPrepare various monthly financial reports, including financial and cashflow forecastsOther financial variance and trend analysisParticipate in preparation and evaluation of company budget/profit plansIdentify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvementParticipate in various system implementations that are taking place throughout the organizationOther Duties:Analyze current and past financial and operational data and performanceReview shop floor data including department overhead/burden ratesCoordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecastsDemonstrate ethical responsibility, personal accountability, and responsibility for the integrity and reliability of data, modeling, and reportingLead and/or provide expertise to ad hoc projects and analysis as required; ROI modeling, etc.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 2+ years of related experienceExperience in a manufacturing environment or cost accounting preferredCPA certification preferredCurious and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a creative problem-solving approachAbility to develop a strong understanding of internal data sources, including accessing, analyzing, and addressing specific questions with relevant dataWorks well independently or team environments; demonstrated team player with positive attitudeAdvanced computer proficiency, especially in Excel and financial management systemsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and prioritiesCOMPETITIVE WAGE PLUS GREAT BENEFITS:Innovance offers a comprehensive benefits package including:Medical – Multiple options available!DentalVisionCompany-Paid Life (optional voluntary for self or dependents)Company-Paid Short and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance PlanFlexible Spending and Health Saving Accounts401(k) PlanEmployee Stock Option Plan (ESOP)Safety Shoe AllowancePrescription Safety Glasses AllowanceVacation – Start earning right away!Paid HolidaysTuition Reimbursement
