Key Responsibilities:

1. Saw Room Hand:

- Operate sawing equipment to cut metal stock to specified dimensions

- Read and interpret work orders and blueprints

- Maintain saw blades and equipment

- Ensure accurate measurements and precise cuts

2. Material Handler:

- Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products throughout the facility

- Organize and maintain inventory in the stockroom

- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely

4. General Duties:

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

- Assist machinists and other team members as needed

- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Basic math skills and ability to read measuring tools

- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Mechanical aptitude and interest in machining

Preferred:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment

- Basic understanding of machining processes and tools

- Experience with CNC equipment
