Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit at a major academic medical center in Ohio
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating to other units may be required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required: at least one must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — no coworker references accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of this facility are eligible to return after a minimum 6-month separation
• RTO must be requested at time of submission and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio should be prepared to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet as quickly as possible upon receipt
