Make a difference in the lives of students in the upcoming 26/27 school year as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time contract opportunity provides rewarding work with K-12 caseloads, and welcomes both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish) SLPs. Whether you're an experienced clinician or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year, you'll find dynamic opportunities tailored to your skills and interests.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience with school-age children or a strong desire to work in pediatric and educational settings
- Ability to support diverse learners; bilingual Spanish proficiency is a valuable asset, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services to K-12 students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support students’ communication needs in academic and social settings
- Partner with families, educators, and administrators to support each learner’s growth and achievement
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
