Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable CDL Dump Truck Driver (milling and paving experience a plus) to join our team at Charlestown Landscaping. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by safely and efficiently transporting materials using our dump trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials onto the truck bed using appropriate equipment
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation protocols
- Assist with general labor tasks on job sites, as needed
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 6 months proven experience as a dump truck driver or similar role.
- Knowledge of proper loading and unloading procedures for various materials
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, as required
