Sr Financial Analyst, AWS SMGS Ops Finance

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll partner with sales and finance leaders to develop business strategies, financial models, and analytical insights. This role requires problem-solving to navigate ambiguous projects where you and your team will define the problem space, establish frameworks, and create structure from complexity. Individually, you'll manage a portfolio focused on customer growth trends, productivity measures, and resource planning improvements, while helping build best-in‑class finance practices across AWS. Success in this role includes – Supporting strategic financial analyses for key business initiatives and investments Coordinating revenue planning with Sales, Marketing, and support teams Managing a portfolio of sales organization productivity measurements Integrating GenAI into sales financial planning and analysis processes The ideal candidate is confident in working with open-ended business cases and can manage the case from hypothesis definition, through analytical insight and recommendation. You must support decision‑making in fast‑paced environments with strong data discovery skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects autonomously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for executive and cross‑functional interactions. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
