Senior Water Resources Engineer

Senior Water Resources Engineer – Watershed Practice – Greenville, SC Ardurra is hiring for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead and mentor junior engineers on high-profile municipal projects across the Southeast. Primary Function Lead and guide a talented engineering team, collaborating with practice directors to grow your skills and career in a dynamic, multidisciplinary firm. Primary Duties Design and implement innovative stormwater management systems, including drainage, retention, and green infrastructure. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as SWMM, HEC‑RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS. Prepare technical reports, calculations, and permitting documents. Conduct site evaluations and support environmental impact assessments. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑disciplinary teams to develop creative, cost‑effective solutions. Assist with field inspections, data collection, and site assessments. Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and best management practices (BMPs). Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline). Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. 8+ years of relevant water resources or stormwater engineering experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD, HydroCAD, ArcGIS, and other design/modeling software. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
