Job Details

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based practices to support patients in enhancing their motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families on therapy methods to encourage continuous progress outside of your sessions.
• Document and Evaluate Progress: Keep meticulous records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported for professional growth

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is required
