Overview Rosemead, CA 91770, United States • Duration: 18+ Months • Pay rate: $97-$109.77/Hour Base pay range : $97.00/hr - $109.00/hr Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead civil engineering efforts across all project phases—scoping, design, cost estimation, scheduling, and construction support. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (project management, construction, environmental, real estate) and external agencies. Field Engagement: Conduct job walks and provide engineering construction support across diverse geographical areas for Transmission, Substation and Distribution facilities. Can be 1–2 field days per week based on business need. Contractor Oversight: Manage civil engineering consultants—define scopes, review proposals, ensure quality, and maintain schedules. Quality Assurance: Perform QA for consultant deliverables, peer reviews, manage purchase orders, and approve invoices. Permitting & Compliance: Secure necessary permits and approvals from local jurisdiction agencies for civil engineering scope and work with business partners to support state, federal and other agency approvals Project Management: Balance multiple project schedules, provide technical leadership for civil engineering scope, monitor budgets and provide proactive communication with key stakeholders. Safety: Embed safety into engineering designs and promote a safety-first culture both in the office and on-site.
