Job Title: Pipe Fitter
Location: Georgetown, SC

Our client is a full-service engineering and manufacturing company that provides innovative, energy-efficient, custom modular packaged commercial and industrial fluid handling and heat transfer systems and equipment. Our client serves customers internationally by providing engineered layout drawings and custom-designed, factory-manufactured solutions to meet the diverse needs of their customer base.

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings and P&ID diagrams.

• Select the appropriate type and size of pipe, related materials, and equipment.

• Cut pipe using saws, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machines.

• Fit pipe in sequence to be welded in a positioner by hand or by machine.

• Layout and thread pipe using pipe threading machines.

• Maintain an orderly and safe workplace.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates leadership and integrity.

• Excellent attendance and serves as a role model for team members.

• Ability to interpret and follow work instructions.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Required:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience in a related field OR completion of an apprenticeship program.

Highly Desirable:

• Combo Welder / Fitter experience.
