365 Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum opportunity in Syracuse, New York. This assignment offers flexible scheduling, no weekend requirements, and coverage across hospital and surgical center settings within a busy perioperative program.

Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed due to multiple summer leave gaps.

Schedule Model
• Flexible scheduling options available
• 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (preferred 5 days/week)
• 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shifts available
• 12-hour day shifts available
• 12-hour night shifts available
• No weekend coverage required
• One night of call per week: 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Practice Overview
• Hospital and ambulatory surgery center coverage
• Mix of supervised and solo practice opportunities
• Supervision of CRNAs available if desired
• 9 anesthesiologists plus per diem support
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level II facility

Facility Resources
• 15 Main Operating Rooms
• 4 Ambulatory Surgery Center ORs
• Strong perioperative support team

Patient Population
• Adult
• Geriatric
• Age 16+

Clinical Scope

Providers should be comfortable with:
• Thoracic anesthesia
• Vascular anesthesia
• Orthopedic anesthesia

Preferred additional skills:
• Spinal anesthesia
• Epidurals
• Regional anesthesia
• Obstetrical anesthesia
• Local infiltration techniques
• Ability to cover OB overnight shifts

Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
• Supervise CRNAs or work independently depending on preference
• Pre-op evaluations and post-op management
• Intraoperative anesthesia care and monitoring
• Participate in weekday night call rotation
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety standards

Practice Environment
• High-volume surgical program
• Flexible staffing model
• Strong support staff including scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
• Travel reimbursement available
• Fast credentialing: approximately 2-4 weeks

Qualifications
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active New York license at submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• COVID vaccination required
• NPDB Self-Query required
• Clean malpractice and background history
