About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 5-6 - Charting system experience preferred Description: MED/SURG RN position available. Days shift with a 36-hour workweek. Every other weekend is required, with 4 weekends in a 4-week schedule cycle. Holidays are required as scheduled. Floating may be required within the specialty and lower acuity as needed. On-call duties are not required. The patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The average daily census is 28. The facility has a nursing staff to patient ratio of 1:5-6. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams including IV teams and physical therapy. Travel experience is preferred but not required. Successful candidates will possess skills in managing various medical tasks and procedures. Compliance with all job requirements is mandatory.
