Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
• Float within specialty and to lower acuity areas as needed, including to a sister facility on rare occasions
• Work assigned holidays as they fall within the schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online vendor)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a travel nurse in a Medical Surgical setting (first-time travelers accepted)
• Comfort with floating within scope and across acuity levels without restrictions
