Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Position will assist in Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology. Responsible for providing direct and indirect physical, psychosocial and spiritual care for patients with cancer and other related disease processes.

Requirements include an active IA RN licence, minimum of 1 year nursing experience required, BSN and oncology experience preferred, Oncology Certification (OCN) is preferred but not mandatory, and Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification required prior to completion of orientation/chemo administration.

Schedule includes 72 hours per pay period, M-F; 7:30a-5p, on-call rotation every 6-8 weeks after 1 year of employment, and the schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department.
