Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a general med-surg/telemetry unit, including monitoring of cardiovascular status
- Interpret telemetry and respond to rhythm abnormalities and alarms promptly
- Administer medications and perform IV therapy and routine procedures per physician orders
- Collaborate with the care team (physicians, RNs, techs) to develop and implement care plans; document in the electronic medical record
- Maintain patient safety, including fall prevention and accurate patient assessments
- Float to adjacent units as needed to support patient care demands and unit needs

Requirements
- Active Licensed KS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Education: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced med-surg/telemetry environment and float to related units as needed
- Credentialing readiness: CBC, DS, and required lab work completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Shift availability: 12-hour night shifts; every other weekend and two major holidays per unit needs
