Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Controller to lead our accounting function and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting while improving processes and supporting strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance Own GAAP financial statements and reporting Lead month‑end and year‑end close process Oversee accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, revenue recognition) Manage audits and ensure compliance Cash Management Monthly Bank Reconciliations Weekly Cash Balance Report Tie daily cash reports to SF Reconcile Petty Cash Leadership & Team Management Lead and develop accounting team Seamlessly integrate acquisition targets Process Improvement & Systems Drive automation and ERP improvements Business Partnership Support leadership with insights, budgeting, and forecasting Required skills/experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 10–15 years' experience; 5+ years as Controller Strong GAAP knowledge and team leadership experience Preferred Qualifications Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm) Experience in private equity‑backed or high‑growth environment ERP implementation or optimization experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) Industry experience aligned with life sciences, media, or B2B services preferred Why Work for Life Science Connect?
