Job Summary – CORRECTIONAL HEALTH The Radiology Technician (x‑ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x‑ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. Minimum Qualification Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Current CPR certification. Communication Skills Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact) and writing/composing reports. Job Attributes Knowledge, skills, and abilities: analytical, CRT, and medical terms.
