This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, completing repairs, and supporting manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance activities. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded maintenance professional who can perform a variety of electrical, mechanical, cosmetic, and general facility maintenance tasks while maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systemsPerform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot facility equipment to maximize uptimeComplete electrical, mechanical, welding, painting, and general repair tasksRead and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose equipment issuesUtilize diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, to test electrical circuits and componentsUtilize CMMS software to manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and repair documentationPerform cosmetic repairs, painting, and facility improvement projectsAssist with equipment installations, renovations, and facility upgradesCoordinate with contractors and assist with maintenance projects while ensuring safety complianceSupport manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment reliability and minimizing downtimeMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentRespond promptly to maintenance requests and provide excellent customer service to internal departmentsWhat We RequireHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing, commercial, or residential environmentsStrong electrical troubleshooting experienceWorking knowledge of mechanical systems and general building maintenanceAbility to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationExperience using diagnostic equipment such as multimeters or ohmmetersExperience utilizing CMMS software for maintenance tracking and preventive maintenanceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requestsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPreferred RequirementsExperience with welding and fabricationFamiliarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automationLeadership or supervisory experience on maintenance projectsExperience supporting manufacturing equipment and production environmentsHVAC and plumbing experience is a plus but not requiredAbility to perform a wide variety of facility maintenance tasks rather than specializing in one tradeWhat We OfferPay: $20.00-$23.00 per hourMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offOpportunities for professional growth and advancementSouthend Pharmacy does not provide employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
