Before and After School Group Leader Assistant/Early Learning Professional

Location(s) NOW HIRING for our summer camp that is going on currently until August 8th then joining us back on August 10th for our school year before and after care. Location for summer camp and fall site director at CW Shipley Elementary School Harpers Ferry WVA Pay: 18.50 Hours: Summer camp is Monday through Friday flexible hours needed for summer camp 6:30AM-12:30PM AND OR 12:30PM-6PM. The fall school year is Monday through Friday 6:15am-9am and pm shift 3pm-6pm. Ready to lead with purpose? As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed In this role, you will: Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards Make child safety the top priority at all times Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred CPR and First Aid certification required At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds) Why Join Us?
