Accounting Associate/Accounting Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $50,000 to $70,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting operations, including processing invoices, payments, and financial records.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing and reviewing financial data.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation and systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contacts to resolve financial discrepancies.

• At least 1-2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
• Willingness to take on additional duties and special projects as needed.

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting audits or inventory tracking is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
