Location Miami, FL Schedule Full-time, school‑based Employment Type Contract Compensation Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP): Starting at $45/hour (dependent on experience) Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA): Starting at $35/hour (dependent on experience) Position Overview Birch Agency is actively seeking both Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our school‑based team in Miami, Florida. Responsibilities Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals. Provide direct speech‑language therapy services. Manage and monitor student caseloads while documenting progress. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers. Utilize evidence‑based interventions to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders. Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements. Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist. Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP. Assist students with articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and social communication skills. Collect therapy data and maintain accurate treatment documentation. Prepare therapy materials and support intervention activities. Collaborate with school staff and families to reinforce communication goals. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology required. Active Florida Speech‑Language Pathologist license required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred. School‑based or pediatric experience preferred. Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an approved SLPA program required. Active Florida SLPA license required. School‑based or pediatric experience preferred. Both Positions Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Passion for helping students improve communication and educational outcomes. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team. Work Environment School‑based setting serving students with a variety of communication disorders and educational needs. Collaborative team of Speech‑Language Pathologists, educators, administrators, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other related service providers.
