Level 3 RN ER

Providing emergency health care services to patients of all ages from minor medical injuries to trauma and various ailments. Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations. Prioritize and immediately decide upon and take proper action in emergency situations. Initiate appropriate measures when the physician is not immediately available. Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors. Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician, including medications and IV therapy. Record observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures administered. Document specific health care requirements for patients and prepare written assignments to team members. Plan and develop care delivery and implementation of care plans. Coordinate the documentation of care. Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and equipment. Maintain a safe environment and ensure general upkeep of the unit. Meet physical demands, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs.
