We work closely with residents and their families to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a warm, welcoming, and professional environment.BenefitsFull-Time | 30+ Hours per WeekMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Paid Time Off (PTO)About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care and support to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, follow individualized care plans, promote resident safety and dignity, and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobilityFollow individualized resident care plans and accurately document observations and care providedAssist residents with meals, dining, recreational activities, and other daily routinesPromote resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safetyFollow infection control procedures and proper body mechanicsRespond appropriately to emergencies and provide support to other caregivers as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentObserve and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional conditionReport suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation according to company policy and state regulationsCommunicate effectively with nurses, managers, coworkers, residents, and familiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredCurrent CNA certification requiredAt least 1 year of caregiving experience preferredPrevious dementia or memory care experience preferredCurrent CPR and First Aid certification requiredDementia and Mental Health TrainingFood Handler's CardCompassionate, patient, dependable, and willing to learnStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and/or assist with lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to push up to 250 pounds in a wheelchair or cartAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movementsAbility to safely assist residents with transfers and mobilityAbility to remain physically active throughout the shiftWhy Join Weatherly Inn?At Weatherly Inn, we believe quality care begins with compassionate caregivers.
