LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting activities and communicate directly with clients. The ideal candidate has 35 years of bookkeeping experience and is proficient in QuickBooks Online. This is a direct hire opportunity to join a growing organization with a great culture!

Responsibilities

• Classify and record financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online
• Complete bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations
• Manage accounts receivable, including preparing and sending customer invoices
• Manage accounts payable, including entering vendor bills and processing payments
• Run payroll accurately and on schedule
• Communicate directly with clients to answer questions, gather information, and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential financial records

Qualifications

• 35 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience with transaction coding, account reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset
• Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule and be commutable to Charlotte, NC
