Other duties may be assigned.Coordinates, schedules, and dispatches of all service requirements from local pickups through deliveries.Must be direct liaison between dock operations and internal/external customerResponsible for tracking, data input, and reporting of information to external and internal customersResponsible for inter-company and intra-company communication.Works with planning group on coordinating facility outbound volumeProvides customer service to internal and external customersPrepare all inbound and outbound documentationAdditional clerical duties as assignedValidation and verification of materials on dock to include labeling, pulling packing slips, moving boxes, opening boxesGenerate reports providing Dock Coordinator's with the critical shipping informationThis job may require overseeing of loading activities (varies by center).Other Skills And AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; internet software; inventory software; order processing systems; spreadsheet software and word processing software.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write in English is required. Bilingual English/Spanish is desired in some centers.Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
