Join Our Team in Clarks Mills, PA! - Plant LaborerCastle Builders Supply, a member of the family-owned PJ Dick-Trumbull-The Lindy Group family of companies, is looking for motivated Plant Laborers to join our team.This is a great opportunity for hardworking individuals in the Clarks Mills and surrounding areas to build a long-term career with a company that values safety, quality, family, and community.Why Work with Us?Union wages with overtime opportunitiesGold-level union healthcare (medical, dental, and vision)Work with a company voted one of Pittsburgh's "Best Places to Work"Family-owned and proud to invest in our people and our communitiesHands-on training and opportunities to grow your skillsWhat You'll Do:Assist with concrete production in a modern plant environmentHandle materials like sand and gravelOperate mobile equipment (loaders, forklifts, skid steers, yard trucks, etc.)Help with equipment maintenance and repairsKeep the plant clean and safePitch in with a wide variety of tasks to keep operations running smoothlySKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Educational and experience requirements include: High School Diploma or equivalent; A minimum of two (2) years of plant production experience with construction aggregates (sand and gravel) or equivalent; Must have reasonable communication skills and be able to read signs, signals and follow written and verbal instructions; Must be willing to join the union local and pass a pre-employment drug test; Overtime is required, which will include nights and/or weekends.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:Must have correctable vision with reasonably good night vision; Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 100 lbs. occasionally and /or 25 to 50 lbs. frequently and/or 10 to 20 lbs. constantly to move objects; Requires manual dexterity and ability to bend, twist, turn, stretch, squat, kneel, sit and stand for extended periods; Must be able to work in elevated, enclosed and sometimes hazardous areas in changing weather conditions.Individuals with Disabilities: PJ Dick-Trumbull-The Lindy Group wants all interested and qualified candidates to be able to use the career site to review and apply for employment opportunities.
