Speech Language Pathologist

Description The practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech-language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree conferred from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. Coursework/Training: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year. Upon hire: Texas Speech Language Pathologist License, or upon hire: New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist - New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board (Vendor Managed) License in state of hire and wherever care is delivered Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management. Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from accredited program. 2 years professional experience. 1 year acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience. Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
