Human Resources DirectorThe Human Resources Director at Eastern Nephrology Associates (ENA) is responsible for overseeing all HR functions across our multi-location nephrology practice. Reporting to the CEO, this role leads recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations. The HR Director partners with leadership to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development, while ensuring compliance with HR regulations and supporting operational efficiency. This position serves as a trusted advisor to both leadership and staff, aligning HR initiatives with ENA's values and goals.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.QualificationsBA/BS in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Healthcare Administration required; MA/MS in Human Resources will be a plusMinimum five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting, with at least three (3) years in a Human Resources Management position.SHRM Certification preferred, but not requiredExperience with ADP or other payroll processing software a plus.HRIS implementation experience is a plusKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequired proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.Excellent organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulationsThorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practicesSupervisory Responsibilities:All facility employees and contract staffEssential Functions:Partner with leadership to implement strategies focused on increasing employee engagement and retentionLead recruitment for administration and clinical staffManage the employee onboarding and orientation processFacilitate employee benefits administrationProvide guidance for employee relationsAssist in the development and implementation of the performance management cycle for approximately 150 employeesOversee payroll processingAct as a liaison for regional supervisors and managers and support the operations teamLead employee training and development. This individual will serve as an employee advocate and as a resource for supervisors and staff regarding personnel-related issuesPrepare reports for management to assist in strategic planning and decisionsProvide support for FMLA/Disability process adherenceDevelop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.Work EnvironmentWork is normally performed in a typical business office environment. Car travel between practice offices and clinics required.
