Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a KS or compact license and night shift availability with no call responsibilities.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• Uses Cerner FetaLink EHR system
• Hospital-laundered scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Ascension Fetal Monitoring certification required, or equivalent AWHONN/Relias program completed within the past 2 years
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide full SSN and DOB for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two separate professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
