This includes the assessment and analysis of the patient’s skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, oversight of implementation, collaboration with and training of caregivers, and ongoing coaching and training of behavioral technicians. Treatment plans are primarily designed to address areas of medical necessity and may occur in a variety of settings including the CARD center, patient’s home, school, community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager and are employed in a salaried, exempt, full‑time role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain treatment plans Ensure that all supervision hours are 100% treatment adherence each month Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to identify their function Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols Direct behavior technicians in the implementation of new or revised protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Primarily work physically within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward goals and adjust protocols based on data Update treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory and therapy hours Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Include caregivers as part of the treatment team, evidenced by consistent caregiver collaboration meetings Interact with payers in a collaborative, professional, and informative manner Engage with payers for funding meetings (e.g., IEP, peer reviews) Stay up to date on best practices for ABA to ensure clinical excellence Maintain appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times Partner consistently with center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator Technician, Behavior Technician Leads) Other duties as assigned Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field required Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Empathetic and compassionate with strict confidentiality Collaborative team player with a positive, solution‑focused attitude Independent problem‑solver with sound clinical judgment Effective verbal and written communicator Excellent time‑management in a fast‑paced, changing environment Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, new systems, and iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skill sets Willingness to work in various locations (center, patient home, etc.) Willingness to work with diverse patients Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Must pass tuberculosis test Proficiency in English, both written and verbal Work Environment Treatment may occur in a variety of settings including the patient’s home, the CARD center, the patient’s school, the community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors work indoors and outdoors, moving between different locations throughout the day, and may be exposed to loud or excessive noise at times. Physical Requirements Comfortable seated on the floor or small chairs in various environments Frequent movement to gather materials, anticipate patient behavior, and provide instruction in settings such as school, playground, clinic, or community Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to support patients and respond to their movements Maintain continuous visual tracking of patients and surrounding environment React to aggressive behaviors and/or block attempts to aggress toward others, sometimes bearing weight of a patient Teach patients to use vocal speech, articulate sound, and model speaking clearly; listen to shape vocal communication of patients Model gross motor skills (e.g., climbing, jumping) and fine motor skills (e.g., clapping, opening a container) Operate in indoor and outdoor settings, including varying weather conditions Lift up to 30 lbs while assisting patients EEO Statement Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act. #J-18808-Ljbffr
