Agile Scrum Master

Scrum Master - HybridGenesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, Chandler, AZ or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.As a servant leader, the Scrum Master will guide and coach one or more teams on Agile practices within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. This role is responsible for facilitating all Agile ceremonies, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring the team maintains a healthy product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner. The role requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.Responsibilities:Facilitate agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives)In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART SyncsHelp the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreementsEnsure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog in collaboration with the Product OwnerFacilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for the teamPromote and facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitmentsProvide visibility into the Agile team's delivery plans and progress against the plan to stakeholdersMeasure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunitiesRequirements:Minimum 5 years of hands-on practical Scrum Master experienceExperience with Scrum and Kanban teamsExperience in a Scaled Agile Environment, including Program Increment (PI) PlanningStrong JIRA and Confluence experienceStrong communication and relationship management skillsDemonstrated ability to drive resultsDesired skills:Technical development experience (Software or Infrastructure)Experience in a large financial institution or regulated environmentScrum Master Certification or SAFe Agile certificationsExperience in a public cloud environment such as Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)Demonstrated team-level agile coaching skillsPay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
