Title: Customer Service Rep Shift: 1st (8am-4:30pm) Pay: $20/hr Location: Liberty, MO Summary: Customer Service Representative interacts with our customers to meet their needs and ensure that they get maximum value from the business. They are usually the first point of contact between the organization and its customers. Their job involves receiving customer inquiries via phone calls, emails or in person and resolving them. Customer Service Representatives frequently work with the sales and operations teams to offer assistance to customers. They also collaborate regularly with senior leadership team to craft a voice or tone for communicating with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers by answering inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Provide accurate and timely response regarding order status, delivery/receipt schedule, and customer concerns.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a polite and timely manner escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Order Management: Process customer orders by constantly monitoring and utilizing Ramp WMS to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. Coordinate with the Warehouse Team to manage order picking and shipping.
• Monitor the progress of receipts and shipments, and provide updates as requested to customers as needed. Ensure proper tariffs and accessorial charges are being applied as necessary for warehouse operations.
• Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and all necessary documentation. Ensure accurate and safe storage of records are being kept as per company record retention policy. Update and manage customer profiles (items, addresses, contacts, etc.) in Ramp WMS, or other softwares per customer request.

Requirements: Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral instruction, use simple arithmetic, keep simple records, or use simple office machines. (Up to and including high school) Requires ability to understand and conduct assigned duties effectively. Knowledge needed of specialized business processes such as elementary accounting procedures. Operation of equipment such as bookkeeping and billing machines, basic computer operations and normal office procedures. Good math or accounting skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to help create and work in a team environment.
