Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Director of the Procurement Bureau, the Section Manager is responsible for the procurement of all goods and services for the department. In this role, the incumbent must work effectively with subordinate staff, peers and senior management throughout the department, vendor partners, the Department of General Services (DGS), California Department of Technology (CDT) and Government Operations Agency (GovOps) to accomplish the duties described in this document. The individual will represent the bureau in project, procurement and departmental meetings.

Working Conditions

• This position requires 4 or more days in the office per week. It is designated office-centered and may be eligible for some remote work based on departmental guidelines and operational need.
