About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Preconstruction to join their executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and executive oversight of all preconstruction activities, with a focus on estimating, budgeting, scope development, and bid strategy. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's continued success in the industrial and data center market, particularly in the design-build, negotiated, and GMP delivery sectors. The Vice President of Preconstruction will be tasked with driving accuracy, process discipline, and strategic pricing decisions, as well as mentoring and developing talent within the preconstruction department. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in construction preconstruction or estimating, with a strong background in industrial, tilt-wall, or data center projects. A proven track record of leading preconstruction efforts on large, complex projects, and experience with various delivery methods is essential. The role requires excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to influence at the executive level. A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being preferred. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader, capable of maintaining and strengthening relationships with key clients, architects, and subcontractors.
