Java Solutions Architect

Responsibilities Design and implement high-performance, scalable wealth management platforms using Java, Python, and cloud-native technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP). Architect microservices-based solutions for portfolio analytics, client onboarding, and trading systems. Integrate FinTech APIs (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Plaid) and third-party custodial/payment systems. Ensure low-latency data processing for real-time risk assessment and rebalancing algorithms. Lead code reviews, system optimizations, and adoption of best practices (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps). Mentor engineering teams in Java/Python frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, Pandas) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Collaborate with quant analysts and data scientists to deploy AI/ML models for personalized financial advice. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (blockchain for asset tokenization, NLP for client chatbots, robo-advisory tools). Optimize data pipelines for client reporting, performance analytics, and regulatory disclosures. Enhance security frameworks (OAuth, encryption, Zero Trust) to protect sensitive financial data. Qualifications and Experience Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Leadership Experience: 8+ years of progressive leadership in technology roles within the wealth management, fintech, or financial services industry. Technical Expertise: Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python. Expertise in REST-based microservices, Kafka for real-time data streaming, and Snowflake & relational databases. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP) are highly valued. Innovation Skills: Proven ability to explore and implement new technologies such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, and data analytics. Startup Experience: Previous experience in high-growth or startup environments with adaptability to scaling demands.
