\nCyber Resilience
\nStrong BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery)
\n7+ years of experience in network security engineering and operations
\nHospital or Health system
\nBackup platform and a Storage platform, Recovery
\n3+ years of leadership or management experience
\nA resource to lead the technical design and build of a cyber recovery environment
\nCyber resilience architecture and ransomware recovery strategy across large enterprise environments
\nDesign and implementation of Isolated Recovery Environments (IRE) for secure cyber recovery
\nDeep enterprise infrastructure expertise including VMware, storage, backup/recovery, networking, and Azure cloud
\nAutomation and orchestration of cyber recovery workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code concepts
\nIncident leadership and executive communication during cyber events within complex healthcare environments
\n \nForescout certifications
\nPalo Alto certifications (PCNSA / PCNSE)
\nCISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification
\nA resource to lead the technical design and build of a cyber recovery environment
\nCyber resilience architecture and ransomware recovery strategy across large enterprise environments
\n• Design and implementation of Isolated Recovery Environments (IRE) for secure cyber recovery
\n• Deep enterprise infrastructure expertise including VMware, storage, backup/recovery, networking, and Azure cloud
\n• Automation and orchestration of cyber recovery workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code concepts
\n• Incident leadership and executive communication during cyber events within complex healthcare environments
\n \nExperience: 7+ years of experience in network security engineering and operations 3+ years of leadership or management experience
\nCerts / Degree: Preferred: · Forescout certifications
\n· Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA / PCNSE)
\n· CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification

\n \nDescription:
\nWe are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead our Cyber Resilience program across a large, complex academic medical center with more than 50,000 employees, multiple hospitals, and two premier medical schools.
\n \nThis role is responsible for strengthening the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from cyber incidents and disruptive events, with a focus on ransomware and destructive attacks impacting critical clinical and business systems.
\n \nThe Senior Technical Architect will develop and enhance the organization’s cyber resilience capabilities, including the design, build, and implementation of an Isolated Recovery Environment (IRE) and supporting recovery architectures across on-premises and cloud environments. The role drives the use of automation to enhance cyber recovery workflows and improve the speed, consistency, and reliability of recovery operations.
\n \nRequired Qualifications
\nCyber Resilience & Ransomware Recovery
\n· 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, recovery architecture, or cyber resilience roles within large, complex environments
\n· Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cyber resilience strategies with a focus on ransomware and destructive cyber events
\n· Deep understanding of assume-breach scenarios, including loss of production trust, and large-scale system encryption
\n· Experience supporting ransomware recovery efforts, including incident response, recovery execution, or formal cyber recovery simulations
\n \nIsolated Recovery Environment (IRE)
\n· Proven experience designing, building, and operating an Isolated Recovery Environment (IRE) or clean-room cyber recovery platform across on-premises and cloud environments
\n· Strong knowledge of isolation strategies, privileged access separation, and secure recovery workflows
\n· Experience validating system and data integrity prior to restoration and managing staged reintroduction of recovered systems Healthcare Environment
\n· Experience working in or supporting healthcare provider environments, such as academic medical centers or large hospital systems
\n· Understanding of clinical system dependencies and impacts to patient care during cyber incidents
\n· Ability to align recovery sequencing to clinical criticality and operational safety
\n \nInfrastructure & Recovery Architecture
\n· Senior-level technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure, including:
\no Server virtualization and bare-metal compute platforms (VMware VCF, Horizon VDI, Cisco UCS)
\no Enterprise database platforms (SQL Server and Oracle)
\no Enterprise storage systems, including immutable and ransomware-resistant technologies (EverPure SAN, Dell PowerScale NAS)
\no Data protection and recovery platforms (Rubrik Enterprise Edition)
\no Network segmentation and secure enclave design
\no Experience architecting hybrid and cloud-based recovery solutions (Azure)
\no Identity and access recovery considerations in cloud environments
\n· Ability to document recovery architectures, dependencies, and restoration runbooks
\n \nAutomation & Workflow Enablement
\n· Experience using automation to enhance cyber recovery workflows across on-premises and cloud environments
\n· Ability to apply scripting, orchestration, or infrastructure-as-code concepts to improve recovery speed, consistency, and reliability
\n· Focus on automation as an enabler of operational resilience during cyber events
\n \nIncident Leadership & Communication
\n· Ability to serve as the senior technical authority during cyber incident activation and recovery
\n· Experience operating within incident command or emergency operations structures
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level technical briefings
