As a dependable, organized, and hands‑on Housekeeping Team Leader , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the daily supervision and coordination of housekeeping activities, while also performing housekeeping duties as needed. Responsibilities: Assist with coordinating and overseeing the daily work of housekeeping staff Assign and prioritize cleaning duties to ensure all areas of the facility are properly maintained Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met Assist with training and orienting new housekeeping employees Help ensure adequate housekeeping supplies are available and properly stored Monitor the proper use of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment Follow infection-control, sanitation, and safety procedures Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor Qualifications: Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, assisted living facility, hotel, or similar environment is a plus 6 months of prior lead or supervisory experience required Ability to organize daily assignments and provide directions to other housekeeping staff Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, sanitation, and safety practices Ability to perform the physical duties associated with housekeeping, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift Compensation: $ 18.00–$20.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr River Ridge Living Center
