Materials Inspector

BioPhase specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for the San Diego County Scientific community. We are currently looking for a contract-to-potential-hire ONSITE Receiving Associate I to work for a leading San Diego diagnostic company. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips Check for shipping damage or discrepancies and document findings Perform basic quality checks per SOPs and internal specifications Label, quarantine, release, and transfer materials as required Enter and verify inventory transactions in ERP system (SAP preferred) Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature control and material segregation Assist with lot tracking, expiration dates, and inventory counts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow all SOPs, quality, and safety guidelines Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 1–2 years of experience in receiving, inspection, or warehouse operations Experience in a regulated or life sciences environment preferred Familiarity with inventory systems; SAP experience a plus Comfortable handling chemicals or biologics (preferred) Able to lift up to 40lbs and stand/walk for extended period What we offer: As we work to develop innovations that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.
