Mobile Applications Developer II

Expert Technical Solutions is seeking a skilled  Mobile Applications Developer II for one of our premier, industry leading clients in  Atlanta, GA 30076 (Roswell) . This person will  responsible for the development and maintenance of our  client’s  suite of mobile applications. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality mobile applications. The candidate should have experience in developing applications for iOS and/or Android platforms. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a Permanent (Hybrid – 4days onsite in  Indianapolis, IN 46256) opportunity offering excellent pay, benefits, and growth potential. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop mobile applications for the Android and/or iOS platforms
• Develop and improve software architecture, testing strategies, developer tooling, and UX for our mobile applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with product managers and QA to support validation activities
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in the development of technical documentation
• Works under some supervision of department leadership with independence on projects in scope.  
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and experience  
• An innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively
• 3+ years of experience in mobile apps development
• Proficient in Swift and/or Kotlin
• Experience with modern mobile app development frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose)
• Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong critical thinking skills, and a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team (e.g., product managers, engineers, business teams) and external subject matter experts
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Experience with LLM coding agents

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or other cross-platform mobile app development frameworks
• Experience with cloud technologies and services such as AWS, Azure, or Firebase
• Experience with IOT and smart connected products (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi APIs)
• Experience with mobile app security best practices
• Experience with mobile app analytics
• Experience with testing frameworks
• HVAC / Water Heating industry experience
