Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced OR Nurse Manager to lead daily operations, staffing, and clinical standards across our Operating Room (OR) and Sterile Processing departments. Compensation & Overview: Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 / year (commensurate with experience) + competitive benefits, including a generous 401k matching program with immediate 100% vesting Key Responsibilities: Departmental Leadership: Direct day-to-day and long-term operations for the OR and Sterile Processing. Personnel Management: Handle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, and team development. Operations & Scheduling: Oversee OR staffing models, daily assignments, on-call coverage, and surgical case scheduling to ensure on-time starts. Quality & Compliance: Drive survey readiness, monitor surgical quality metrics (turnover times, case cancellations), and ensure regulatory compliance. Inventory & Vendors: Partner with materials management on supply costs, par levels, implant logs, and vendor rep relations. Clinical Support: Step in to circulate in the OR as needed to support staffing and patient care. Schedule & Hours: Days: Monday – Friday Hours: Flexible start times (typically 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM start based on daily surgical case volume). No weekends! Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of OR nursing experience AND 5+ years of nursing leadership experience. Specialty: Strong Orthopedic surgical experience is required. Licensure & Certifications: Active RN license, plus current BLS, ACLS, and PALS . Technical Knowledge: Understanding of sterile processing and instrument reprocessing standards (AORN/AAMI). Skills: Strong computer literacy, analytical skills, and operational data management. Preferred Qualifications: Education: BSN or MSN (ASN accepted with strong relevant leadership experience). Certifications: Certified Perioperative Nurse ( CNOR ). Environment: Ambulatory Surgery Center ( ASC ) experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
