Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - High Demand

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive mental health care services in Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience + benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
Provide supportive therapy and patient education
Maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with healthcare team members

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Psychiatric-Mental Health specialization).
Board Certified PMHNP-BC.
Active New York State NP license.
Active DEA registration.
Minimum 3 years of psychiatric clinical experience.
Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology.
