Job Opportunity: General Surgery Position

We are a well-respected community hospital with 184 beds, complemented by a nearby 50-bed facility dedicated to elective surgeries. The role includes light trauma and emergency room call every other week, with no gastrointestinal call required. Our surgical suite features five operating rooms, supported by 24/7 anesthesia coverage, all equipped with modern amenities—note that we do not utilize robotic surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly build your practice by taking over for a physician who has relocated.
• Engage in a general surgery practice that offers both independence and the backing of a strong primary care network for referrals.
• Perform a full range of general surgery procedures, with the option to include specialized interests such as scopes, breast surgery, or bariatrics.
• If interested in education, there is an opportunity to participate in teaching within the Family Medicine residency program.
